I love photography, and I love capturing memories for people. I have turned my hobby into a small business with the help and encouragement of my family and friends.
I started down this path when my daughter was born, and it snowballed from there. The kids are always my 'subjects' as I explore new ideas. I enjoy all types of photography, from landscapes, to events, theatre, portraits and abstracts.
Great images do not really depend on the camera, but on the photographer. However, if you are curious, I have included a description of my commonly used equipment.
I shoot with a Canon EOS 6D digital SLR, and I have a second Canon 50D as a backup/second camera. My main flashes are the Canon 580EX II and 580ex. I use a number of different lenses, depending on the situation; they range from wide to telephotos, and include a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, a Canon 24-105mm f/4 L IS, a Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS, a Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro, and a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS.
For additional light sculpting, and drama, I can add more flashes, umbrellas and backdrops.
