New Relationship - Theatre St. Thomas!

I was happy to get a call from Theatre St. Thomas when they were looking for Theatre Photography services. I got a good recommendation from TNB, and was asked to shoot the dress rehearsal of TST's Taming of the Shrew. It was a great show! I hope our relationship continues.

Pushing the season, we trekked out to Killarney Lake to get some outdoor family photos. I think it was 6 degrees! The cold finally drove us in, but we got some great shots!

Frankenstein!

October brought Halloween and Theatre New Brunswick's Frankenstein. Great show and fantastic cast!

With Fall just hanging on I got the opportunity to photograph the Bursey's again. I guess I am doing something right!

The Fredericton Dental Society & York Foundation Variety Show

I was asked to photograph this variety show fundraiser by Jill Scaplen, whom I have known for several years through theatrical and musical productions and roles. This show was a hit with performances featuring The Little City Big Band, The Wade Brothers, Elvis, Bonnie Kilburn Dancers, Mike Bravener, comedy skits and more.

Michael Doherty - 2014 recipient of The Playhouse Honours

I was honoured to photograph Michael for this award. I first met him through shooting events with TNB, at the Playhouse. He is a talented musician, composer, sound designer, producer and musical director. It is always a pleasure to hear the productions he contributes to. You can see this photo hanging on the wall at the Playhouse in Fredericton, NB.

Family Wedding Bells

This summer I was invited to attend my step sister's wedding out west. I usually don't 'do' weddings (photographically speaking), but after some negotiating with my father, I agreed to shoot some photos. It was a great party, with a wonderfully fantastic contingent from Germany - the groom's side of the family. I am glad they were able to travel from so far, as it was great to meet them.

Winter/Spring 2014 - TNB!

My Winter and Spring photography was filled with 3 great Theatre New Brunswick shows! I had a great time photographing them in my role as Resident Photographer. There was The Net in February, RED in March, and Guys and Dolls in May.
